Cascara

Coffee is a stone fruit. The core usually consists of two coffee seeds known as coffee beans. The surrounding pulp and husk (cascara in Spanish) can be dried and then used to prepare a tea-like and caffeinated infusion. Our cascara comes from the coffee bushes of a Pink Bourbon plot on Raw Material’s EL Fenix Farm in Colombia. A moderate infusion with cold or warm water produces a nectar-sweet, floral drink.
